Meet Dr. Oriaku
Dr. Oriaku is a physician with a rare combination of clinical expertise with six board certifications spanning internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, sleep medicine, lifestyle medicine, and menopause care. Her training at Houston Methodist, Temple University, and the University of Washington shapes a comprehensive, systems-based approach to breathing, sleep, recovery, and long-term health. Her work centers on translating complex physiology into clear, practical guidance that patients and clinicians who care for them can actually use.
With over a decade of clinical experience, her respect for evidence-based diagnosis and treatment has deepened, but she also appreciates how easily people can feel lost when symptoms cross multiple systems or care becomes fragmented across specialties.
At the center of Dr. Oriaku’s approach is partnership. She does not just review a chart—she listens for patterns, translates them through physiology, and helps patients understand their options and prioritized next steps in a way that feels practical, grounded, and compassionate.
Dr. Oriaku's intention in creating Udara Health is to make the knowledge she has gained over the years accessible to others. So people move through illness and health with greater understanding, support, and the opportunity to thrive. "I hope you derive value from the resources I have created and will continue to enrich over time."

When the dots started connecting . . . .
Dr. Oriaku was so friendly and put me at ease right away. She is an expert in her field and I am honored to have her take care of me. She explained everything that I needed to know and she knew I was nervous but she talked to me so I could understand and she made sure I didn't have any other questions. Thank you Dr. Oriaku.
She gave excellent information about what my test results mean and illustrated how body systems work together. She gave clear suggestions about what would improve my health and how. She was personable and considerate and very well informed. I appreciate her expertise and professionalism.
She was caring, compassionate. Complete check up & review of my CAP history. She provided me with a lot of information about how CPAP helps my health. She provided me with info & resources about diet/exercise & health. She was concerned & inspiring! Best visit I have had with any doctor in a LONG time!
Excellent care, excellent in explaining my diagnosis, excellent in explaining tests to follow. Also excellent at taking the next steps in my care. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!
Dr. Oriaku explained more to me than any other previous provider. She was kind, patient and thorough. I left with a better understanding of my condition and treatment options. Thank you!!
Dr. Oriaku's first question when she entered the room was what did I expect to get out of this appointment? A different approach, I thought. It was our first meeting. She listened to me, explained her thoughts and ideas, and made sure I was satisfied before I left.
